Whether you are newly engaged or your wedding is right around the corner, the Bridal Spectacular offers the advantage of featuring many qualified wedding professionals in one handy location.

If you are looking for the latest bridal fashions or attire for your wedding party, don't miss the runway fashion show at 2pm. You'll enjoy samples of tasty cakes from regional bakers and food delights from area caterers as well as sweet chocolate treats. You'll have a chance to talk to DJs, Officiants, hair stylists as well as view samples from professional photographers and video artists and the newest in wedding invitations and floral designs.

At the Megasound booth, we'll be giving away several prizes including a $200 prize for "savings off" your ceremony and reception package. Be sure to sign up at the door as well as the individual vendor booths for wonderful door prizes and other opportunities to save money on planning your wedding. Music Mix Ready for Upcoming Fashion Show

I recently had the pleasure of producing the music that will be featured at the upcoming 45th Anniversary Fashion Show at The Wedding Place (on Saturday, September 12, 2009).

“Beatmixing” music isn't difficult when there are extended “intros” and “outros” on the songs to work with although radio edits of songs are much more tricky. Mixing "on the fly" without having listened to the songs first can sometimes also create unintended results. As any DJ can tell you, there are always times where one says to himself or herself, "Wow! Alright, THAT didn't sound good!"

Unlike those unpleasant moments where a mix sounds more like a “train wreck” than a nice segue, my experience producing next weekend's fashion show music was quite positive and rewarding indeed.

Giving Back Never Looked Better

Megasound is honored to be a part of the upcoming fashion show and charity auction in conjunction with the Salvation Army. “Giving Back Never Looked Better” will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Salvation Army Center at 2901 North Clinton Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana.


This fashion-forward program starts at 11:30 AM with preview time and registration for many unique silent auction items. The luncheon begins at noon with a distinctive fashion show at 12:45 PM. The afternoon will be rounded out with the completion of the silent auction and other ways to spruce up you and your family's wardrobes.
