Great wedding Friday night

Friday night ushered in a reception for a couple who are just great together. Josh & Tonia rounded out their evening with a grand entrance to “This is how we do it!” What a great way to share such a fun party celebration. After the traditions, many of the guests made their way to the dance floor for the “Electric Slide” and the “Cupid Shuffle.” Near the end of the evening, the last of the guests circled together on the dance floor for “Piano Man.” I sure hope that I got a couple of good shots to share with Josh & Tonia.

February Bridal Academy on 2-21-08

Tomorrow (2-21-08) night is the February session of Bridal Academy at The Wedding Place. I am the MC for Bridal Academy so I get double duty this month as I am a presenter as well. I am excited to share information about wedding contracts. I hope that this will help brides and grooms have a smooth wedding planning process. Hope to see you there!!

Cake Cutting

I was at the Monogram Shoppe yesterday for their Bridal event. I had a blast talking to brides and helping out where I could. Before the ladies from Elegant Cakes by Carolyn got to the event, I got to cut their wonderful cakes for all to enjoy. It reminded me of all the times at weddings where I have given the “Cliff Notes” version of “How to cut at wedding Cake” to brides and grooms. Christine Boulton (2-15-08)

On Friday night, we had the vendor presentation by Christine Boulton of thinklikeabride.com. We had about 35 guests in attendance. It was really neat having and outside perspective on the wedding market. It was nice to be able to network with other vendors as well.

It was a real burst of enthusiasm and excitement right before working with the brides at the show on Saturday.
